Choose Your Riding Style
Tailor your journey to your exact comfort and preference, ensuring the perfect balance of freedom and luxury:
- The Self-Drive Option:
Take the handlebars yourself, master the curves, and feel the exhilarating thrill of riding an authentic Vespa through the scenic Roman hills.
- The Chauffeured Option: Sit back, relax, and keep your camera ready. Enjoy the rolling countryside views while one of our professional drivers handles the road for you.
Two Eras of World Heritage: The Itinerary
Our route climbs away from the capital into the cooler hills of Tivoli, where you will explore two distinct peaks of human architecture and design:
- Hadrian’s Villa (Villa Adriana):
Step back into the 2nd century as you explore the grand imperial retreat of Emperor Hadrian. This sprawling archaeological park stands as the most comprehensive Roman palace complex ever built, reflecting the ancient world's wealth, philosophy, and power.
- Villa d’Este: Transition into the height of the 16th century at this magnificent Renaissance jewel. Renowned globally for its lush, tiered gardens, the villa is famous for its breathtaking orchestra of 500 fountains, powered entirely by natural water pressure and gravity.
An Authentic Trattoria Luncheon
To round off your perfect day in the countryside, we have selected a charming local trattoria away from the main tourist paths. Here, you will take a relaxing mid-day break to savor a traditional multi-course lunch, experiencing the authentic, seasonal flavors and warm hospitality of the Lazio region.
From the monumental ruins of the Roman Empire to the symphonic water gardens of the Renaissance, this full-day Vespa tour delivers the ultimate expression of the true Italian Dolce Vita.
